FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ST. LOUIS, MO — In response to the urgent need and void after the tornado in May 2025, for effective restoration, recovery, and freedom for men in the region, Complete Christian Evangelism has officially unveiled plans for a new, specialized residential facility titled "Antioch" at 4325 Margaretta Ave (63139).
Designed to house and rehabilitate 50 men, the 12,000-square-foot campus represents a bold new approach to urban recovery architecture.
A Design for Dignity Unlike traditional shelters, the Antioch facility is designed as a fully functional "Fortress of Hope". The building wraps around a central, secure courtyard, ensuring privacy and safety for residents. The design features a walkable rooftop prayer garden, a commercial-grade community kitchen, indoor recreational area, outdoor half basketball court, and dedicated chapel that doubles as a study hall for students.
"St. Louis doesn't just need more beds; we need more transformation," says Brett Narzinski, Founder of The Antioch Project. "We designed this building to be a fortress of hope—a place where the noise and chaos of the streets are shut out, so the real work of healing can begin."
The "Lean Build" Strategy  "We want this building to last for generations to come," says Brett Narzinski. In a unique display of stewardship, The Antioch Project utilized a "Lean Build" strategy to make the project viable. By simplifying the architectural shell, utilizing community-style amenities, and local support, the organization value-engineered the construction cost from a projected $4.6 million down to $2.8 million without sacrificing safety or quality.
Project Highlights:
Capacity: 30 beds for men in the core recovery program; 20 transitional housing beds for graduates.
Location: The facility will be built on the vacant lot at 4325 Margaretta Ave, turning an empty property into a community asset.
Services: On-site job training, faith-focused restoration, mental health support, and community service deployment.
Visuals Available The organization has released a short video visualization of the facility and high-resolution architectural renderings showing the courtyard, kitchen, and aerial views.
